
Can a knee injury as a torn meniscus keyhole and arthritis from the surgery later?
Well, it depends of what was done during surgery. If the meniscus was repaired and the repair was successful, the knee should be fine. The problem of getting the meniscus removed, is that the years have bone rubbing bone will cause osteoarthritis. It may take 20 years, but eventually it will happen. My husband had taken her years of meniscus ago, and they need a total knee replacement. That's why If the repair is an option, it should be.
