Let me begin by saying that I genuinely believe Cross Zippo lighters and pens and pencils are the best products of its kind in the world today. I know there are products more expensive out there with more elegant designs, but for my money is Zippo and Cruz. Now let me explain why. I enjoyed these products for over thirty years and in that time I learned that as good and durable as these products are, inevitably experience normal wear, requiring repair. At this time of disposables, our first impulse might be to simply throw away these products and purchase new ones, but both companies offer lifetime warranties behind. And I've taken up on their offer to repair products in more than one occasion, no questions asked. Every time I send in my lighters and pencil and put the pencil back and new, and all you pay for postage to ship the products to them.

It is comforting to know that There are still companies out there that are behind their products through thick and thin, a rarity in today's disposable society. Some people think that the guarantees are no longer practical to implement more, it's cheaper just to buy a lighter or pen again. What these people do not realize is that guarantees average lifetime customers for life, that consumers, like me, develop loyalty to products, not only for its look and work but because they know the seller is willing to keep their products. This instills a sense of consumer confidence which leads to loyalty and repeat business. Not only are lifetime warranties a good deal, I can not imagine why there are not more companies with similar products that offer support.

Understanding this, Zippo and Cruz are also a set of probabilities. If everyone were to return their lighters and pens for repair that could flood businesses and cost millions of dollars. But they realize most people tend to dispose of these products and buy new ones instead. So, although generously offering a good lifetime warranty, acknowledge that only a fraction of their customers actually take them up on their offer. However, the lifetime warranty is highlighted in the minds of consumers and causes of repeat business.

It's good to know that there are still companies in the UK states comprising what the customer service and the effect it can have on the bottom line of a company. So the next time you are checking that lighter and sleeker new set of pen and pencil, do yourself a favor, go take a look at what Zippo and the Cross has to offer. They stand behind their products.
