If WinXP Service Pack 3 shows some file names in blue font color?
I upgraded to Win XP Service Pack 3. When searching for files in Explorer view or office through open file menu, some file names appear in blue, while others remain the default black. Is this normal? How can I switch back to the original all black
Blue Color of some of the file names appears only when files are compressed or encrypted user or system or included in encrypted or compressed as a whole unit. You can disable this feature by opening My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> Click the View Tab. Uncheck Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color. rgds
