They are tubes marijuana vaporizer herbal / security hoses to inhale through?

What are the characteristics of the hose "insurance"? How to know if the hose is leaving vapor (taste / smell)? I boil the rubber hose and glass components in water for a few minutes to remove glues and adhesives. The hose was much softer, but not change shape or color. After a few days of the hose is slightly more softer than the first time bought, but mostly the same. I do not know if the hose is NSF or approved by the FDA or that would even make a difference. Any feedback Smart appreciated.

As the plastic is not hot enough to be soft in the use (and should not), I doubt you have much to worry about. I've never seen smoke coming out of a plastic spray hose, nor have I tried (which probably would taste like water that has sat on a plastic hot bottle, if leaching).
